This is Zion from Folsom, California!
He is a French Poodle who belongs to Pat, Annie, Sami and Chelsea veloso.

Here's the scoop about Zion:

     A shelter was giving him away to any family who was willing to provide a home for him.  Our daughter, Sami, saw his picture on the Internet and we went to see him at the shelter.  He took an immediate liking to every member of our family, and it seemed as though he had known us forever.  We all fell in love with him, but were heartbroken when we were told that he had been promised to someone else. 

     A few days later, the shelter called us to say that the person who was supposed to take him home didn't show up.  So we ended up getting Zion -- and we couldn't be happier!  

     Zion does many tricks but his best trick is when you say to him, "Give me a kiss!" he jumps up as high as 4 feet to give you a smack on the lips.  He has a lot of canine friends in the neighborhood and he loves rubber toys.
